New stuff, ideas, and time to lose myself…

A lot of thinking has been going on. I have been back to work for a bit now after being laid off for a second time in 3 years (fun!). It is time I revved up my engine and get myself going with pocket projects I have been sitting on. After a few lengthy conversations with friends and family today, it has become apparent that it’s time to pull out the cheesy Eminem lyrics, and begin to lose myself in the moment.

I’ve said this to myself a thousand times before I am sure, however, I think I finally understand what it means to work like crazy for yourself. Not only for myself, but would love to get those closest to me involved, which includes friends. I have had even more friends laid off this week, and although the economy may show slow signs of recovery, it obviously just isn’t good enough. I have been trying to help out a few friends lately.

We were finally able to get Ryan Mendoza’s Photography site up (LifeAsItHappensPhotography.com), a small site to show off his big aspirations of being a photographer.

Check his site out, as there are sure wonderful things he will be coming out with soon, and if you need a photographer, be sure to give him a ring.

Outside of the world of business I still continue to keep my mind clear in Bonsai, and Japanese Maple cultures. However, I have been a bit quiet in the nonprofit world for the last few months, but we plan to release a new site for 21st Paradigm soon.

I also continue to show support for Mark Horvath and InvisiblePeople.tv and his mission to eliminate homelessness; and not to mention the ever wonderful crew I continue to cheer on at Sea Shepherd. I also am thinking about getting involved with my sister’s nonprofit group for the local Green Long Beach. They held their latest festival this past weekend, and from what I saw was a great success.

For now, it’s seriously time to rock.
