So if you are using an id=”controlBar” for a container in Flex (ie. an HBox), I have some news for you.. DON’T.
Â Since there is a default component in the Flex UI components list, someone decided to hack that component together in the libraries, and more than likely used an instance id of ‘controlBar’. Therefore, if you use the term ‘controlBar’ for an id anywhere else in your application, youre going to get funky looking compile errors.
Only took me 2 hours to figure that out, either I am just completely out of it because of lack of sleep, or this is a reasonable unforseeable error.
