IMG_5964You’ve heard that title somewhere before, however, I have lived that title for the past 33 years of my life. It has been fun. That was sarcasm by the way. My battle has been with asthma, and a chronic one at that even at the age that I am at now. I do exercise, and even as I am involved in crossfit now, it has been a challenge to adapt, but of course not giving up. However, this past weekend another respiratory issue got the attention of a plethora of athletes. Cystic Fibrosis needs a cure as well, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is determined to find that cure.

The Hike The Halo event was built to bring together athletes and put their talents on display to help raise money to find a way to stop Cystic Fibrosis. A much longer and informative post can be found on the Crossfit Precept site at http://www.crossfitprecept.com/crossfit-precept-team-at-hike-the-halo-2013/. Proud to be part of this team / community aka Crossfit Precept. All started by the man himself, Joe Moreno. Every team member ran the challenge run which wasn’t just a run but a crossfit type of wod. Everyone finished, and still ready to dance apparently. Great job guys!
